Gold Bug Park: Gold Bug Park is located one mile north of Highway 50 on Bedford Avenue not far from downtown Placerville. The Liberty Claim Pavilion is a covered facilitysituated near the historic Gold Bug Mine . This new facility comes equipped with picnic tables and is ideal for large group meetings and/or picnics.For more information on renting the Liberty Claim Pavilion, please contact the Recreation Department at (530) 642-5232. Lions Park: Lions Park is located at 3633 Cedar Ravine in Placerville. The park is equipped with two softball fields and a Gazebo that can be rented. The Gazebo area has a shade structure, picnic tables, and a large B.B.Q. This area is ideal for large group gatherings.For more information on renting the softball fields or the gazebo, please contact the Recreation Department at (530) 642-5232. Town Hall: Located in historic downtown Placerville, Town Hall is located at 549 Main Street. Reservations can be made by contacting Recreation and Parks at (530) 642-5232.
