CITY BANNER REGULATIONS
Reservations can be
made for banner space across
Banners are displayed for one (1) week beginning on
Monday morning (or Tuesday morning if Monday is a holiday). Reservations for
events within the City limits are limited to six (6) months in
advance.
Example: If Monday of the week you want to reserve is
July 1st, then the earliest reservation that can be made is January
1st at 8:00 a.m. If January 1st
is a holiday or weekend date, the earliest reservation will be taken at 8:00
a.m. on the day that City hall reopens.

Reservations for events outside the City limits are limited to two
(2) months in advance (see example above).

Only non-profit organizations shall be allowed to display banners.

All banners are subject to a one (1)-week per year display limit
over

No religious or political advertisements will be allowed on banners.
·
Birthday or anniversary banners will be allowed only when no
other banners are scheduled.
·
The City assumes NO liability for lost, stolen or damaged
banners.
·
Only City employees are to put up or remove banners.
Banners must have wind holes cut into the center face of
the banner every four (4’) feet. These
wind holes are to be semi-circular in shape with a diameter of five (5”) inches
(same as a two-pound coffee can).
Banners are to be exactly 26
inches in width with a maximum length of 30 feet.
Banners must have metal
eyelets
on the top and on the bottom every two (2’) feet. The eyelets are to be one (1”) inch from the
top and bottom edges. Shower curtain rings are to be provided by the
applicant. At least two (2) curtain
rings per eyelet are required.
The banner must be delivered
to City Hall and fees paid for by the first day on which the banner is
reserved. Failure to do so may result in
the loss of the time slot to another applicant reservation.
Banners shall be picked up
at City Hall no later than ten (10) days after they have been taken down (the City will NOT
be liable for the banners after this time).
No
banners will be allowed for display on the City Parking Structure.
